I love rocks and geology. In the course of my travels around America, I have taken photos of some magnificent scenery. Here I will share some of those beautiful photos. I also have a video of scenery called, “America the Beautiful,” and a PowerPoint titled, “America’s Cut-Throughs.” The power point shows a lot of interesting land formations that provide information about how the mountains were created, and about the progression of plant and animal life upon the earth over a 4-billion-year period. Then I have some photographs of some of the interesting and beautiful rocks in my large collection. Finally, you will find the illustrated poem, “Be Glad You’re Not a Rock”—the perfect poem for parents whose children are bored.
